Being a Senior Project Manager at fresh…

You’ll need to…

  • Play a key senior role within the wider project team, reporting directly to your Project Director
  • Be the heart of your immediate team, leading by example and supporting, mentoring and training as required
  • Support your Project Director in efficiently managing your team and challenging efficient ways of working
  • Be an inspiring, dedicated direct line manager to your Project Manager(s) and offer support for the Senior Project Executive(s) and Project Executive(s) within your team
  • Develop a strong working relationship with in-house divisions and suppliers
  • Manage your clients, suppliers and projects and be the go-to person for problem solving
  • Be the brand ambassador for your clients sharing knowledge of their needs, objectives and expectations with the wider team whilst ensuring solutions are commercially viable for the business
  • Work closely with the new business team to lead pitches from the initial brief through to delivery

You’ll need these skills…

  • Solid experience in events at a senior level, managing teams, clients and large budgets across a variety of projects
  • IT and Mac proficiency including excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Keynote and Outlook
  • Commercial and business acumen and solid financial and budgetary management
  • Strong client handling and managerial skills, and being able to inspire, coach, support and nurture a team
  • Excellent organisational skills, work prioritisation, time management and attention to detail
  • Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills, both internally and externally
  • Excellent knowledge of the event and marketing industry and be able to educate others
  • Ability to work with minimal support and guidance even whilst under pressure
  • Experience in leading successful new business pitches

What your day-to-day might include…

  • Being the senior point of contact on accounts and projects including oversight of the team and their smaller scale projects
  • Leading client meetings and site visits and managing all follow-up actions
  • Identifying opportunities within existing accounts for new business or increasing profitability
  • Leading pitches within a fully integrated and joined-up agency
  • Resource planning
  • Managing team planners and processes to ensure the smooth and efficient running of your team
  • P&L forecasting, management and reporting and attending income tracker meetings where required
  • Senior attendance at appropriate industry events
  • Keeping up to date on all industry news, trends and emerging technologies
