Bringing the festival vibes to A-Plant at the Plantworx Event!

A-Plant is one of the UK’s largest plant, tool and equipment hire companies. They form part of FTSE 100 company Ashtead Group plc, the second largest equipment rental company in the world. We have been working with A-plant for over 10 years on a range of projects. Most of these projects were concentrated on delivering their large scale events including their conferences as well as exhibitions, but we have also worked on internal communication initiatives and employee engagement projects. Quite a mix of things!

Making the experience count

Building stronger relationships and retaining customers is something A-plant pride themselves with, and this is why organising large scale events to meet customers face to face is a key objective for the team.

We work with A-plant to make sure they are great experiences where ever possible to trial products and learn more about the A-plant brand. The range of customer segments A-plant target are so diverse as well as unique to specific industry needs, we understand that each event must reflect the mind set of those customers and position the products in ways that are relatable to each segment, in a fresh way every time.


One fantastic event we recently delivered, was the Plantworx event at the East of England Showground in Peterborough (usually delivered every two years). The event was to target customers with in the construction industry, mainly buyers, site managers and trade professionals with purchasing power.

Rather than create a space where they would simply walk around and engage with the products, we turned the idea on it’s head and gave the space a festival feel, making the experience much more memorable and increasing dwell time at stands. This was inspired by the A-Plant’s Showman’s Show that we also delivered, aimed at festival and party event organisers.
