Creating content-led events…

Developing a global communications plan.
After working with Santander UK for over 12 years on a wide range of events and comms projects, we were really excited to start working with Banco Santander in Madrid on communications planning and content generation.

Working in partnership

Working in partnership with the Global Communications team we supported them with the development of their comms plan, producing and repurposing content to fulfil this plan, enhancing each overarching campaign theme. This work created a more robust strategic comms plan and campaigns that included initiatives from each of their country markets. The approach therefore improved collaboration across the group so they could contribute to the overall business goals.

The content generation involved film and graphics production as well as providing content for their internal communications, Linkedin, Twitter and website channels. The results of the campaigns were incredibly positive, with record numbers of engagement and visibility across their social channels.

 

The Power of Blockchain

As part of the ‘We are Santander Week’, one of the key pieces of content in our comms plan was about the complicated world of Blockchain. After identifying that there wasn’t an existing film that would help to explain what blockchain was in under two minutes, we took to producing an original piece.

We wanted to create something that worked for Santander’s audience and helped to make sense of a complicated subject in an accessible way. To achieve this we produced an animation designed around a character with a ‘block’ head, inspired by the Minecraft style to seamlessly tie the creative into the subject matter.

The end result was a fun, visually engaging and informative piece of film that stands out from anything else available on this topic. The reach was fantastic with large amount of positive social sentiment, helping to position Santander as a future thinker, innovator and thought leader.

The animation was published across Santander’s global communication channels in multiple languages including social media platforms Twitter and LinkedIn.
